Perry does it again

Kenny Perry has once again stood on the final hole of competition as the winner of a PGA event, shooting 70 on Sunday to take the John Deere Classic with a four-day score of 268 (-16).

Our View: Perry took Brad Adomonis and Jay Williamson to one playoff hole to get the win, both of them falling short with shots into the water. This gives Perry a firm grasp on that spot for the US Ryder Cup team he so desperately wants, recording an amazing third win in six starts. He still asserts his intentions to skip next week's Open Championships, instead commited to play at the US Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
