Eight men in: Watkins GlenTuesday 8/5, 9:30 PM CT
In the event qualification is rained out or canceled for any other reason, the following drivers would make the show: Michael McDowell, A.J. Allmendinger, P J Jones, Patrick Carpentier, Kyle Petty, Joe Nemechek. Max Papis and Marcos Ambrose.

Our View: Going home would be Brian Simo, Boris Said and Regan Smith in the No. 81.
Jones in for Yeley at the GlenTuesday 8/5, 4:19 PM CT
P.J. Jones will replace J.J. Yeley at the Glen this week to help this team sitting 38th in the point standings to make the road course race.

Our View: Last year, Yeley finished 12th at Infineon in Michael Waltrip's No. 55, so he is capable of giving this team a good run. Still, there are better road ringers available.
Riggs certain he's moving onTuesday 8/5, 11:31 AM CT
As Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman remain coy about the second Stewart-Haas Racing car in 2009, Scott Riggs is 99.999 percent certain he'll be moving on, according to NASCAR.com.

Our View: Riggs had a strong run last week and is committed to establishing this team solidly in the top 35, so look for him to continue to be one of the best sleepers in the race.
