Carey Price dropped up to 25 pounds in the off-season on advice from goalie Rollie Melanson, according to the Montreal Gazette. Price said, "He wants me to move a little quicker and I won't be hauling 225 pounds around."

Our View: As well as obviously being able to move more quickly, he should also have improved endurance and stamina over the course of the season. He is expected to enjoy a strong campaign, and this news further solidifies that belief.

Alex Tanguay, LW

Alex Tanguay is excited about playing for the Canadiens this season, according to the Calgary Sun. He said, "I'm really looking forward to training camp. This is the most mythical hockey team. I feel like a baseball player just traded to the Yankees. Twice last season I asked the Flames to trade me, and Montreal was on my wish list both times."

Our View: Tanguay was not pleased with playing on a checking line in Calgary last season, which reduced him to 58 points over 78 games. He looks to bounce back in Montreal, and should challenge 75 points, making him a viable No. 4 fantasy forward.
