October 28, 2008 Glen Murray will undergo ankle surgery on November 11th which will end his season, and possibly his career, according to Our View:Murray's contract was bought out by Boston in late July, after the Bruins saw his production dwindle to just 30 points in 63 games. |

July 26, 2008 As anticipated, the Bruins have bought out the remaining time on winger Glen Murray's contract, according to Our View:Murray went unclaimed one day after being placed on waivers. The 35-year-old winger was slated to make $4.15 million next season, but Boston will save $2.9 million against the salary cap by buying out his contract. |
