June 20, 2008 Alex Tanguay is now a member of the Montreal Canadiens as he was sent to the Habs in exchange for the 25th overall pick and a second round selection next season, according to Our View:Tanguay has one year left on a contract that will pay him $5.25 million, a pretty high price for a player who is coming off a rather unproductive season (18g, 40a) after scoring 79, 78 and 81 points the previous three years. |
