July 23, 2008 The Bruins have placed Glen Murray on waivers, according to Our View:The 35-year-old defenseman had trouble staying healthy in 2007-08, and contributed 17 goals and 13 assists over 63 games, with 50 penalty minutes. Two of his goals were game-winners. Murray can be traded or bought out, or they may simply hold on to him if he clears waivers. |

The team will therefore have a bit of time to decide if they want to bring back Murray and his $4 million plus contract a year after he was limited to just 17 goals and 30 points in 63 injury filled games. |
