Barrett Ruud, LB

Linebacker Barrett Ruud left the Buccaneers game early in Week 5 with an apparent knee injury. The St. Petersburg Times is reporting there doesn't appear to be structural damage, though there is likely to be some swelling and some pain. He will undergo an MRI exam back in Tampa on Monday.

Our View:Ruud was unable to finish the game in Week 5 but after the game he met with the trainers and was up beat about his chances to practice this week.

Brian Griese, QB

Brian Griese left the Bucs Week 5 loss early with an elbow bruise. Griese said it was his understanding that there is no structural damage in the elbow, according to the St. Petersburg Times.

Our View:Greise will undergo will wait for the swelling to go down until they make a decision on what kind of treatment he will have to receive.

Ike Hilliard, WR

Wide receiver Ike Hilliard caught four passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 loss to the Broncos.

Our View:Hilliard is up to three touchdowns this year. That's his highest single-season total since 2003. He doesn't put up enough yards to be strongly considered on a weekly basis, but he might be used in a pinch during the bye weeks.
