Zak Keasey, FB

Fullback Zak Keasey tore a biceps tendon in Week 6 against the Eagles and is expected to miss the rest of the season, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Tight end Delanie Walker may take over as the primary fullback.

Our View:The worry for fantasy owners is that the loss of Keasey could affect Frank Gore, but Walker did a good job in Week 6.

Josh Morgan, WR

The 49ers worked wide receiver Josh Morgan into the action early during the Week 6 loss to the Eagles. The rookie replaced both Bryant Johnson and Arnaz Battle at times, the San Francisco Chronicle notes. Morgan caught one pass for 25 yards in the game.

Our View:Johnson did not have a catch in the game, and we have to wonder if the 49ers are ramping Morgan up to take over Bryant's starting job. Morgan was very impressive this preseason, but a staph infection set him back. Fantasy owners should probably ignore any 49ers receiver outside of Isaac Bruce.

Joe Nedney, K

Kicker Joe Nedney did much of the scoring in the Week 6 loss to the Eagles. He kicked four field goals and chipped in two extra points.

Our View:The 49ers have struggled to finish off drives this year, as evidenced by the fact that Nedney has seen multiple field goal chances in five of six games. Joe isn't a great fantasy kicker, but he can be useful in a pinch.
