Robert Ferguson was wearing a wrap on his injured right leg suffered Saturday and did not practice. He was kicked in the calf and ankle area playing on the kickoff return unit. His status for week one is still uncertain.

Maurice Hicks, RB

Maurice Hicks missed Thursday's practice due to his sprained foot, according to the Star Tribune. He may not be ready to play in the opener Monday.

Our View:Hicks wouldn't see many carries as the No. 3 running back in Week 1 against the Packers, but will still be missed if he cannot play, as he is the primary kick returner.

Tarvaris Jackson, QB

Tarvaris Jackson continued to wear a knee brace Thursday but he was able to fully practice, according to the Star Tribune. He said he felt good afterward, and added, "I'm not going to overcompensate for it. It's to the point where I'm more and more comfortable and just know that it's OK to where I'm not going out there playing like I'm hurt."

Our View:He vows to play Monday night against the division rival Packers, but Jackson should only be considered for fantasy lineups as a reserve. He would prefer not to wear the knee brace Monday, but a decision is yet to be made.
