Robert Mathis, DE Sunday 10/12, 4:31 PM CT
Robert Mathis had a huge game for the Colts on Sunday, recording six tackles and three sacks against Baltimore.

Our View: He now has five sacks this season. putting him well on pace to surpass his career-high of 11.5 sacks.
Mike Hart, RB Sunday 10/12, 4:10 PM CT
Mike Hart left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a knee injury. According to NFL.com, Colts head coach Tony Dungy said the knee “doesn’t look great.”

Our View: We will continue to follow the situation, but this obviously sounds like very discouraging news for the rookie running back.
Joseph Addai, RB Sunday 10/12, 4:07 PM CT
Joseph Addai left Sunday's game in the first quarter with a hamstring injury, but Colts head coach Tony Dungy said during his postgame press conference, “I think Joseph is going to be OK," according to NFL.com.

Our View: We will continue to follow his status this week, but this is encouraging news.
Marvin Harrison, WR Sunday 10/12, 3:24 PM CT
Marvin Harrison had three catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns for the Colts on Sunday.

Our View: The game was Harrison's first with more than 40 yards since Week 1. He has struggled for the most part this season, but hopefully this is a sign that he is waking up.
Reggie Wayne, WR Sunday 10/12, 3:21 PM CT
Reggie Wayne had eight catches for 118 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 31-3 win over Baltimore on Sunday.

Our View: Wayne has been the most consistent wide receiver in the game this season, which was also a theme last season. He now has a score in four out of five games and has at least 74 yards in each game.
Dominic Rhodes, RB Sunday 10/12, 3:18 PM CT
With Joseph Addai and Mike Hart both leaving Sunday's game with injuries, Dominic Rhodes received 25 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Our View: The Colts needed to run the clock out in the second half, and Rhodes was the right guy at the right time with no one else healthy. He could be a good pickup depending on Addai's status next week.
Peyton Manning, QB Sunday 10/12, 3:15 PM CT
Peyton Manning had a big first half vs. Baltimore and finished Sunday's game 19-of-28 passing for 271 yards and three touchdowns.

Our View: Baltimore's secondary was banged up, but this was still an impressive performance by Manning. He has really picked up the pace over the last two weeks with five touchdown passes, but his schedule doesn't get any easier at Green Bay and at Tennessee over the next two weeks.
Peyton Manning, QB Sunday 10/12, 2:18 PM CT
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms reported during the Colts game on Sunday that Peyton Manning said he had two surgeries in the off-season on his knee. The second surgery was due to an infection, and he had 80 stitches after the surgeries. Manning now says that the knee is not an issue.

Our View: It is rather impressive that Manning didn't miss any time during the regular season considering the surgeries. He looked healthy against the Ravens on Sunday.
Mike Hart, RB Sunday 10/12, 1:01 PM CT
Mike Hart left Sunday's game after appearing to hurt his knee on a tackle. The Colts had already lost Joseph Addai due to a hamstring injury.

Our View: Dominic Rhodes is still standing, but the Colts may have to throw more with their running backs dropping like flies.
Joseph Addai, RB Sunday 10/12, 12:43 PM CT
Running back Joseph Addai exited the game against Baltimore with a hamstring injury.

Our View: Addai's return to the game has been deemed doubtful. Dominic Rhodes replaced him in the starting lineup.
Bob Sanders, S Sunday 10/12, 11:05 AM CT
Colts inactives: S Bob Sanders, CB Kelvin Hayden, LB Buster Davis, G Daniel Federkeil, WR Roy Hall, DT Daniel Muir, DE Marcus Howard, DB Nick Graham.

Our View: Defensive end Dwight Freeney is active. The Ravens should be able to run the ball effectively with Bob Sanders still out.
Dwight Freeney, DE Sunday 10/12, 11:03 AM CT
Dwight Freeney (hamstring) is active in Week 6 and should start.

Our View: The Ravens have played conservatively on offense this season, so it could be tough for Freeney to add to his sack total.
Tony Ugoh, OT Saturday 10/11, 5:08 PM CT
Left tackle Tony Ugoh has been struggling as he recovers from a groin injury, and the Colts plan to wait until he is 100 percent before putting him back in the lineup, Pro Football Weekly reports. Charlie Johnson has been working in his place.

Our View: Ugoh is a solid left tackle, but the Colts obviously don't want to expose Peyton Manning by having him struggle on the blindside. Hopefully Ugoh can get back to 100 percent soon because the Colts (and fantasy owners) need him.
Dwight Freeney, DE Saturday 10/11, 10:59 AM CT
Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney should be able to play Week 6 when the team takes on the Baltimore Ravens, according to the Indianapolis Star. "All those guys we think should be available," Colts coach Tony Dungy said.

Our View: Freeney, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, practiced on Friday, raising expectations. He has had a very good season, and though he has only 10 tackles, he also has three sacks and forced two fumbles.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR Saturday 10/11, 10:55 AM CT
The Colts believe that rookie wideout Anthony Gonzalez will be able to play on Sunday, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: Gonzalez suffered a concussion last week, but has been practicing. The team will need him against the stingy Ravens pass defense.
Dwight Freeney, DE Thursday 10/9, 2:37 PM CT
Dwight Freeney could miss Week 6 due to his hamstring injury, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: The team previously stated that his injury should not force him to miss time, so fantasy owners in IDP leagues should wait before submitting their lineups. Freeney is not much of a tackler, but is still a solid contributor to the Colts' pass rush as he has three sacks and two forced fumbles so far.
Kelvin Hayden, CB Thursday 10/9, 1:57 PM CT
Kelvin Hayden is visiting Dr. James Andrews in Alabama to get his opinion on his injured knee, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: There is concern that the solid cornerback may need reconstructive surgery, which would be a tough loss for an already struggling Colts' defense. Tim Jennings has been covering his spot in the lineup.
Corey Hilliard, T Wednesday 10/8, 9:58 PM CT
Corey Hilliard was released by the Colts to make room for Keiwan Ratliff, according to the Colts official web site.

Our View: Hilliard had not played a game yet for the Colts and with recent injuries to the secondary a move had to be made.
Pierre Garcon, WR Wednesday 10/8, 9:48 PM CT
Rookie Pierre Garcon will take over the kick return duties for the Colts in Week 6, according to the Colts official web site.

Our View: Garcon does not have any fantasy value as a wide receiver or as a kick returner.
Dwight Freeney, DE Wednesday 10/8, 8:47 PM CT
Dwight Freeney was held out of the Colts practice on Wednesday due to a strained hamstring, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: The Colts have said that this recent injury should not force Freeney to miss any time.
Gary Brackett, LB Wednesday 10/8, 7:30 PM CT
Colts linebacker Gary Brackett was named the AFC defensive player of the week, according to Colts.com.

Our View: In the Colts come from behind win over the Texans, Brackett returned a fumble 68 yards for a touchdown.
Keiwan Ratliff, CB Wednesday 10/8, 5:26 PM CT
The Indianapolis Star reports that cornerback Keiwan Ratliff was re-signed by the Colts on Wednesday to help replace the injured Kelvin Hayden. He will also handle punt returns for the team.

Our View: Ratliff does not hold any fantasy value. This is an emergency move by the Colts to plug gaps left by injuries.
Kelvin Hayden, CB Wednesday 10/8, 5:23 PM CT
Kelvin Hayden is not expected to play in Week 6, according to the Indianapolis Star. Hayden injured his left knee during Sunday's game at Houston.

Our View: Tim Jennings replaced him last week. Hayden is a good cornerback and had 17 tackles (14 solo) and an interception through four games. The Colts' secondary will be weakened this week against Baltimore.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR Wednesday 10/8, 11:45 AM CT
Peter King of Sports Illustrated believes Anthony Gonzalez will be able to play in Week 6 against Baltimore. He sustained a minor concussion against Houston last weekend.

Our View: The Ravens' defense is off to a strong start, but Gonzalez could find room to operate with Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne covered by the top defensive backs, namely Chris McAlister.
Justin Forsett, RB Wednesday 10/8, 11:39 AM CT
Justin Forsett has been released by the Colts, according to the Seattle Times.

Our View: He was drafted by Seattle and fared well in the preseason, but held no value to the Colts while stuck behind Joseph Addai, Dominic Rhodes, and rookie Mike Hart on the depth chart.
Marvin Harrison, WR Wednesday 10/8, 8:50 AM CT
Marvin Harrison is reportedly being sued by the alleged victim (Dwight Dixon) in the April 29 shooting in North Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Harrison was never charged in the shooting, which occurred after he and Dixon exchanged blows near an auto-repair shop that Harrison owns on Thompson Street near 25th, according to police sources. The case is still considered an open investigation, said Christopher Diviny, who is an assistant D.A.

Our View: Harrison admitted to being in the fight, but insisted he had nothing to do with the shooting. Witnesses and Dixon separately identified Harrison as the shooter, according to sources. The lawsuit, filed September 2, is worded in a way that would find Harrison responsible regardless of the outcome of the criminal investigation. The suit seeks more than $100,000 in damages.
Nick Graham, CB Tuesday 10/7, 4:42 PM CT
Nick Graham has been signed by the Indianapolis Colts, according to Scout.com.

Our View: Graham played with the Eagles in 2007 and now will add depth in the Colts secondary.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR Monday 10/6, 11:07 PM CT
Anthony Gonzalez suffered a minor concussion in Week 5 but the club believes he could be able to play in Week 6, according to NFL.com.

Our View: With Marvin Harrison struggling to get open and with his communication with Peyton Manning far less effective than it has been in the past, the club really needs a healthy Gonzalez to keep the passing attack potent.
Dwight Freeney, DE Monday 10/6, 9:29 PM CT
Dwight Freeney (leg) was banged up in Week 5 but the team believes he will be able to play through it, according to NFL.com. "He strained something in his leg on the first fumble, but he went back in for about five or six plays," HC Tony Dungy said.

Our View: Freeney has had a rough time staying healthy of late, but as you just read his most recent setback isn't one that figures to keep him off the field.
Anthony Gonzalez, WR Monday 10/6, 11:26 AM CT
Anthony Gonzalez was forced out of Sunday's game at Houston due to a yet to be disclosed injury, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: Gonzalez spent the fourth quarter on the bench, and coach Tony Dungy was unable to elaborate on what type of injury sidelined him. We will keep you posted on the shifty slot receiver's status.
Kelvin Hayden, CB Monday 10/6, 11:22 AM CT
Kelvin Hayden injured his left knee during Sunday's game at Houston, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: He was forced out in the second half and did not return. Tim Jennings replaced him in the lineup. Hayden is a solid NFL cornerback and was off to a favorable start this season with 17 tackles (14 solo) and an interception, and the Colts' secondary will be weakened if he is unable to go in Week 6 against Baltimore. The team is yet to determine the severity of his injury.
Reggie Wayne, WR Sunday 10/5, 3:53 PM CT
Reggie Wayne caught seven balls for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win over Houston.

Our View: Wayne has compiled 74 or more receiving yards in every game this season, and he has scored in three of the past four weeks.
Joseph Addai, RB Sunday 10/5, 3:49 PM CT
Running back Joseph Addai carried the ball 17 times for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win over Houston.

Our View: Addai hasn't rushed for more than 78 yards in any contest this season, but he has scored four touchdowns in the past three games.
Peyton Manning, QB Sunday 10/5, 3:46 PM CT
Quarterback Peyton Manning completed 25-of-34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns against one interception in the Week 5 win over Houston.

Our View: Manning still doesn't look completely comfortable but he posted his first multiple touchdown pass game of the season.
Bob Sanders, S Sunday 10/5, 11:07 AM CT
Colts inactives: S Bob Sanders, LB Buster Davis, T Corey Hilliard, G Daniel Federkeil, WR Roy Hall, TE Jacob Tamme, DT Daniel Muir, DE Marcus Howard.

Our View: Defensive end Dwight Freeney and wide receiver missed some time in practice this week (not injury related), but both players are active. Strong safety Bob Sanders is out again, which will make it easier for Steve Slaton to run the football on the Colts defense.
Tony Ugoh, OT Thursday 10/2, 10:51 AM CT
Colts offensive lineman Tony Ugoh participated in the team's practice on Wednesday, and could be ready to play Week 5, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: Ugoh is the team's starter at left tackle, and has missed time due to a groin injury. His return would certainly be welcome news to Peyton Manning and Co.
Bob Sanders, S Wednesday 10/1, 5:23 PM CT
Colts.com reports that Bill Polian of the Colts does not expect Bob Sanders back until Week 9 against New England due to a high ankle sprain.

Our View: That's a little longer than initially expected. The Colts run defense will present a favorable running back matchup in the mean time.
