Dwight Freeney's rehab from a Lisfranc fracture remains on schedule, according to the Indianapolis Star. He has experienced no setbacks from the injury that forced him to miss the second half of last season. He said, "Im doing everything I used to do: spinning and twisting and pushing, all of that. Im getting work on all of that. Im right on time."

Our View:Freeney expects to open training camp on the PUP list, but noted that he will be ready to play in Week 1 against Chicago without a doubt.

Peyton Manning, QB

Archie Manning indicated that his son Peyton Manning's rehab from knee surgery is going well, according to the Indianapolis Star. The elder Manning said, "I think hes doing fine, really. Peyton will deal with it. Hell rehab and go at it 100 percent. I know Peyton and hell make the best of his days and try to contribute."

Our View:Manning has started 160 consecutive regular-season games, which is the longest active streak among quarterbacks in the NFL, unless Brett Favre returns. As previously stated, Manning is expected to be ready for the season opener against the Bears on September 7.

Dexter Reid, S

Free agent CB Dexter Reid will be suspended for the first four games of the upcoming season for violating the terms of the league's substance abuse policy, according to Pro Football Weekly.

Our View:Reid hasn't played in an NFL game since 2006.
