September 1, 2008 Buster Davis has been claimed off waivers by the Colts, according to the Our View:Davis was competing for the No. 2 role at middle linebacker in Detroit, but was ultimately let go when rookie Jordan Dizon passed him on the depth chart. Davis will provide depth for Indianapolis with Tyjuan Hagler on the PUP list (torn pectoral muscle), but does not merit fantasy consideration in standard-sized IDP leagues. |

The Lions selected linebacker Jordon Dizon in the second round of the NFL draft, and he is expected to start from Day 1 in the middle, moving Paris Lennon over to the strong side. |
