Wide receiver Biren Ealy joined the Titans practice squad on Sunday, the Tennessean reports. Quarterback Ingle Martin, defensive tackle Antonio Johnson, cornerbacks Cary Williams and Tuff Harris, tight end Jamie Petrowski, and offensive linemen Jason Murphy and Fernando Velasco were also signed.

Our View:There's no much of interest to fantasy owners here. Ealy wasn't good enough to earn one of the five receiver spots on the roster, which suggests he was a disappointment this August.

Biren Ealy was waived by the Titans, according to the Tennessean. Defensive end Sean Conover, tight end Jamie Petrowski, fullback Casey Cramer, defensive end Eric Taylor, fullback Jeremy Cain, and safety Calvin Lowry were also let go.

Our View:Ealy was competing for the No. 3 role at receiver, but gradually slipped down the depth chart, and ultimately fell off it today with his release. If healthy, Brandon Jones looks to be the favorite for the slot role.

Biren Ealy is working as the Titans' number three receiver out of the slot, according to the Tennessean. Ealy has been one of the biggest stars of the off-season for the club, and he is displaying a relentless work ethic and consistently making plays in practice. Coach Jeff Fisher said, "He carries himself as if he’s been in the league for a number of years. He didn’t have wide-eyes when he walked out the first day of practice and he is confident and working to improve on any weakness. He has been very consistent."

Our View:Justin Gage and Justin McCareins are working as the starters right now, and Ealy has really taken advantage of the added reps while Roydell Williams is recovering from his ankle ailment. Ealy is off to a strong start and will be on our radar through training camp.

Wide receiver Biren Ealy will get a long look this spring due to his good size and speed, according to the Sporting News. Ealy played some down the stretch in 2007, but spent most of the season on the practice squad. Ealy, who has excellent chemistry with quarterback Vince Young, still needs to work on understanding various defenses, but has displayed good hands during practice and is physical enough to win the ball in traffic.
