Jonathan Babineaux would start on Sunday against the Vikings if Rod Coleman is unable to play, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coleman practiced on Thursday but is considered questionable for Sunday’s game due to the quadriceps surgery he had during the offseason.

Jonathan Babineaux was arrested Monday on a felony count of animal abuse, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Details of the arrest aren't known at this time. "We're aware of the situation, and we're in the process of gathering information," Falcons vice president of football communications Reggie Roberts said in a statement released by the team. "Until we have the information we need, we will have no further comment."
