Linebacker Boss Bailey will miss the remainder of the season after injuring his knee against the Patriots in Week 8. Tests revealed enough damage where Bailey may require microfracture surgery in the coming days, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Our View:Bailey has had a big year so far in 2008 with 40 tackles and a fumble recovery but now that he is out for the year, Jamie Winborn will step into his starting spot.

Boss Bailey will undergo an MRI after injuring his left knee in Monday's game against the Patriots, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Our View:Jamie Winborn would fill in at strong-side linebacker if Bailey is forced to miss time. The Broncos have a bye in Week 8 to give him more time to recover.

Linebacker Boss Bailey injured his left knee against the Patriots in Week 7 and was unable to play in the second half.

Our View:Jamie Winborn will step up with Bailey out. It's been a bad night all around for the Broncos, and we'll update Bailey's status when more is known in the coming days.

Linebacker Boss Bailey exited the game against Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed leg injury.

Our View:Bailey walked off the field without any assistance. Over the past couple of weeks, he has been hindered by an ankle injury. No additional information is currently available.

Boss Bailey has been nursing a bum ankle but he fully participated in practice on Wednesday, according to the Chiefs official web site.

Our View:Bailey was taken out of the game late in Week 3 but with him participating in practice he should be fine for the Broncos game against the Chiefs. If he aggrevates the ankle and can't play on Sunday, Jamie Winborn would move into the starting lineup.
