Wide receiver Steve Smith caught six passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 win over the Buccaneers.

Our View:The line always looks good when you have a 56-yard touchdown catch. Smith should continue to be a low-end No. 1 fantasy wideout moving forward.

Steve Smith compiled four receptions for 70 yards in the Panthers Week 3 loss to Minnesota.

Our View:Not a great start for the Smith, who missed the first two games due to a team-mandated suspension. There are better days ahead as Carolina hosts Atlanta and Kansas City during the next two weeks.

Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith spoke about his return to the team on Thursday, and says he is ready to move on from talking about the incident that saw him suspended for two games for sucker punching teammate Ken Lucas, according to Panthers.com. "I know I'm not a victim, as people may think. I know I'm not giving them lip service. I'm not just saying stuff just to get people off my back. I'm telling you how I feel. Sometimes, obviously, when you do something wrong, you don't want to constantly keep talking about it," he said.

Our View:We're not entirely sure who thinks Smith is a victim in this circumstance, because clearly Lucas was. Nonetheless, he is an explosive playmaker who will certainly be of use to fantasy owners week in and week out.

Steve Smith will return from his two-game suspension at the perfect time. In his last game against the Vikings (in 2005), he caught 11 balls for 201 yards and a touchdown. It's the only 200-yard game in the career of Smith, who also has a kickoff return for a touchdown against the Vikes.

Our View:We have a hunch that Smith will come out thinking he has something to prove Sunday, which is not a good thing for the Vikings secondary.

Wide receiver Steve Smith is back with the Panthers after serving his two-game suspension. He will be at practice on Wednesday and play in Week 3 against the Vikings, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Our View:Brandon Marshall caught 18 balls in his first game back from a suspension, so the bar is set pretty high for Smith. Fantasy owners should be prepared to use him in Week 3, provided he makes it through the practice week without punching anyone.
