Nate Webster could practice this week following his bout with a sprained MCL, according to the Rocky Mountain News.

Our View:Coach Mike Shanahan noted that there is a possibility that Spencer Larsen could remain the starting middle linebacker when Webster is ready to return.

Nate Webster suffered a second-degree MCL sprain in his left knee during Thursday's battle with Cleveland, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:He will have an MRI Friday. The Broncos have lost all three starting linebackers to injuries. The team could potentially field Jamie Winborn, Niko Koutouvides, and rookie Wesley Woodyard at the three starting spots in Week 11 at Atlanta.

Nate Webster has won the starting middle linebacker job that was a competition between he and Niko Koutouvides, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:Webster is a bit more familiar with the Denver defense, helping him win the job, but Koutouvides will still play a lot on special teams, and should Webster struggle, will get the call.

Nate Webster and Niko Koutouvides have split time almost evenly at middle linebacker with the first-team defense through training camp, according to the Rocky Mountain News. Coach Mike Shanahan said, "It's very close, and obviously practice and game situations will dictate who will start, but I feel good about both of them."

Our View:Webster is currently ahead of Koutouvides, but there is still a long way to go before the Week 1 starter is selected. The winner of the job would have potential to rack up solid fantasy numbers.
