"I can't envision a situation in which (Donovan McNabb) is not our quarterback next year," Banner says, as reprinted on the team's official web site. Donovan McNabb did little in Weeks 1 and 2, but he made up for it in Week 3 against Detroit, completing 21-of-26 passes for 381 yards and four touchdowns. Interestingly, all four of his TDs came in the first half. McNabb has the potential to be a top 5 fantasy QB if he gets on the roll, so he could have big things in store going forward.

McNabb expressed optimism that he could be back on the field sooner.

"I do not want to be traded," he said. "I plan on getting myself back healthy... and ready to go. I'm a Philadelphia Eagle, and I will continue to be a Philadelphia Eagle, hopefully, for years and years to come. Hopefully I'll retire as an Eagle." McNabb is recovering from knee surgery he underwent in late November.
