Running back Edgerrin James carried the ball nine times for only 29 yards, but he scored two touchdowns in the Week 4 loss to New York.

Our View:James, who chipped in five receptions for 37 yards, scored for the first time since Week 17 of last season.

The East Valley Tribune reports that Edgerrin James could lose more carries to rookie Tim Hightower.

Our View:James is 30 years old, and Hightower is the more explosive of the two backs. Hightower is already sniping goal-line scores, and James' fantasy value looks to potentially decrease with each passing week as Hightower gets more involved in the offense. James is averaging just under 83 rushing yards per game right now, and it may be a good move to gauge his worth on the trade market.

With his 55 rushing yards on the day, Cardinals running back Edgerrin James now has 15,004 yards from scrimmage in his career, and is just the 14th player in NFL history to have that many yards, according to the Arizona Republic.

Our View:James is no longer a back fantasy owners want starting on a week-to-week basis, but he can be a No. 2 running back or flex option and still make contributions.

Edgerrin James racked up 100 yards on 26 carries in Sunday's win over the 49ers, according to the East Valley Tribune. It was his 56th 100-yard effort of his career, and his seventh as a member of the Cardinals.

Our View:Fantasy owners should be pleased with the solid yardage, despite the fact that rookie Tim Hightower sniped a goal-line touchdown in the game.

Edgerrin James does not think the fact that he turns 30 on August 1st means anything for his impact as a running back this season, according to the Arizona Republic. "I don't think (the idea that running backs begin to fade at 30) applies to me, because after all I've done and the way I take care of my body, I'm not even concerned with that. I see some guys who haven't even played as long as I've played, they're missing practices and not able to play every game."

Our View:James has not missed a game or practice in two seasons with the Cardinals so it isn't fair to assume a break down for him in the near future. We have seen Fred Taylor have two of his best seasons following the age of 30 and Edge's attitude about the whole thing seems to indicate he will still be giving his best every Sunday.
