October 5, 2008
Quarterback Jake Delhomme completed 14-of-22 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 5 win over the Chiefs. He also threw one pick.

Our View:That's back-to-back two-touchdown games for Delhomme, who appears to be comfortable working with the duo of Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad. The Chiefs were an easy opponent, but it looks like Jake should be a decent No. 2 fantasy passer moving forward.

Jake Delhomme fully practiced without any issues Wednesday, according to the Rock Hill Herald.

Our View:He took a knee to the quad in Week 4 against Atlanta that left him hobbled. He looks to be good to go in a favorable match-up against the Chiefs in Week 5.
September 28, 2008
Quarterback Jake Delhomme completed 20-of-29 passes for 290 yards and two scores in the Week 4 win over the Falcons.

Our View:Delhomme was off to a very slow start, but we figured a home start against the Falcons would be a good time to find his rhythm. He should be more productive moving forward, at least as long as Steve Smith is around.
September 14, 2008
The Panthers beat the Bears Sunday, but it wasn't as a result of Jake Delhomme's performance. Delhomme completed 12-of-21 passes for just 128 yards while tossing one pick.

Our View:Jake probably can't wait to get Steve Smith back next week.
September 7, 2008
Jake Delhomme threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dante Rosario as time expired to help the Carolina Panthers to a 26-24 season opening win over the Chargers on Sunday.

Our View:The Panthers starting quarterback was 23-for-41 for 247 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions on the day.
