February 6, 2008 The Seattle Seahawks have agreed in principle to a five-year contract extension with Jim Mora Jr., according to ESPN.com. Mora has been promoted to assistant head coach, and will also continue to focus on the defensive backfield. This situation is similar to the one in Indianapolis involving Tony Dungy and Jim Caldwell. It appears that Mora will takeover as the head coach in 2008 after Mike Holmgren retires. |
