Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury said it would be fine with him to come off the bench should Chris Duhon win the starting job, according to the New York Post. "If the Knicks want me to come off the bench, that's what I'm going to do. I just want to win a championship in New York because we as New Yorkers deserve a chip," Marbury proclaimed.

Our View:We're not sure about that whole Knicks winning a championship talk, but it is nice that the organization has his permission to play who they think will help them the most.

Knicks center Eddy Curry said he expects to be the starter for the team at the position this season, according to the New York Post.

Our View:Curry is battling it out with David Lee and Zach Randolph for the job. He has missed practice due to a bacterial infection, but resumed playing this week.

Eddy Curry returned to practice after missing some time due to a bacterial infection, and he said that he fully anticipates being the clubs starting center on opening night, according to the NY Daily News.

Our View:Curry will obviously need to work on his conditioning after this illness. If Zach Randolph ends up at power forward that will means that David Lee will be forced to come off the bench.
