Our View:The catcher has turned into a reliever, and it is uncertain what the Reds intend to do with him. Davis holds a .237 batting average over 486 games in the majors.

The Reds offered reliever David Weathers salary arbitration, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com.

Our View:If he declines, the Reds would receive a sandwich draft pick between the first and second rounds from the MLB club that inks him. There are believed to be around 12 teams interested in the 39-year-old hurler, despite holding a barely passable 1.53 WHIP with the Reds in 2008.

Paul Bako, C

The Astros are interested in free agent catcher Paul Bako, according to BaseballProspectus.com.

Our View:Bako would be added by Houston to replace Brad Ausmus, and the 36-year-old catcher's fantasy stock would not likely improve with a new club.
