Adam Rosales has been optioned to Triple-A Louisville, according to the AP. Pitcher Ramon Ramirez was recalled from Louisville as the corresponding move, and will make a spot start in place of the injured Johnny Cueto tonight against the Giants.

Our View:Rosales failed to make an impact with one hit over eight brief at-bats, but could rejoin the Reds again during September call-ups.
