Miller will play in the Dominican Winter League this off-season, reports The Cleveland Plain Dealer. He missed most of this season with a finger injury, and the Indians have not decided whether he will start or relieve this winter.

Our View:Miller is still an outstanding pitching prospect, but he has had trouble staying healthy. He could be given a chance to make the Indians next spring if he shows that he is healthy.

Adam Miller underwent surgery Tuesday on the middle finger of his right hand to re-attach the flexor tendon to the bone, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The righty is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks.

Our View:Miller just can't seem to shake off the injury bug. He's dealt with problems with the finger for a while now, and it's hindering his development. It's possible a move to the bullpen could be in Miller's future if he can't show he's capable of staying healthy while pitching every five days.

Pitcher Adam Miller has been placed on the DL at Triple-A Buffalo, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He has been brought down by an open callous on a finger of his pitching hand.

Our View:Miller, who is a top pitching prospect for Cleveland, went 0-1 with a 1.88 ERA over six starts in Triple-A prior to landing on the DL.

Adam Miller will start on Wednesday night for Triple-A Buffalo in his first start of the season after missing time due to blisters, this according to The Plain Dealer. "He was up to 93 mph in extended spring," said Ross Atkins, director of player development. "That's without the adrenaline of being under the lights for the first time. He told us he's as ready as he's going to get."

Our View:If Miller is sharp over his first few starts there is a chance that he will be recalled to serve out of a bullpen that is a bit unsettled with the injury to Joe Borowski. Keep an eye on Miller as he certainly has the stuff to dominate major league hitters right now.
