Newsbreakers
August 25, 2008
Joaquin Arias will get increased playing time at second base until Ian Kinsler returns, according to the Dallas Morning News. Manager Ron Washington has been pleased with him and would like to see more of him. He will see action against right-handers and not just lefties. Washington said, "We've been waiting for a long time to get him up here, and this is my first time ever seeing him play."

Our View:He is 5-for-11 (.454) over his last three games, with two stolen bases over the span. He is worth a look in AL-only leagues until Kinsler comes back.
