They are known as crease cops, cage plumbers, pipe fritters and the custodians of the corded cottage. They are the goaltenders, and the destiny of every NHL franchise rests on their cool demeanor, hot hands and uncanny ability to pull victory from the clutches of defeat. With NHL training camps now open and the 2008-09 exhibition season in full swing, we'll examine these composed customers and the impact they will have on their respective clubs.
