If there is one thing you learn in researching and analyzing the offensive lines of the NFL, it is that the most common of errors are the result of ignorance. In formulating grades on the performance of the season before, you find the performance of top offensive playmakers is all too easily tied to the performance of those offensive lines (especially with more teams committing multiple players to single positions, sharing the load to encourage health and targeting the various skills different personnel may offer).
