From top to bottom, the Falcons were arguably the worst franchise in the NFL in 2007. For a team that trailed often, they were a disappointing 18th in the NFL in passing yards per game with 206.0 and ranked 26th in the league with 95.0 rushing yards per game .. The most dire statistic had the Falcons ranked 29th in scoring with 16.2 points per game. The defense was worse. They were 29th in the league in scoring defense surrendering 25.9 points per game, 23rd against the pass (228.4 yards per game) and 26th against the run (127.1 yards per game).Associate Editor
