Heading into the 2008 draft, the Atlanta Falcons had more needs than any team in the NFL. Many expected the team to take LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey with the third pick, but the team drafted a potential franchise-changing quarterback in Matt Ryan out of Boston College.
